Michael F. Richards
Bank
President and Organizing Director
Michael has been in the banking business for the past 30
years. He started his career after graduating from
UC Davis in Davis California in 1975. He was the
President and Organizer of Big Sky Western Bank, in Big
Sky Montana, which began in 1990, headed a work-out
department for First Bank System and has been the branch
manager of a number of banks. Michael and his
family have resided in the Gallatin Valley area since
1987. He has a large following of local customers,
many of which are stockholders of Bank of Bozeman.
Michael has a positive approach to solving problems and
has helped thousands of customers over his banking
career. His many years of experience, knowledge of
the local market, success at starting and managing
banks, and large network of local contacts are a major
asset to the bank. Michael Richards and Tracy
Cowdrey were the two individuals who conceived the idea
of Bank of Bozeman.

Tracy R. Cowdrey
Organizing Director
A life long Bozeman resident, Tracy’s construction
business has helped build our neighborhoods, literally.
For 28 years his hands-on approach has given him
complete familiarity with every aspect of the
construction industry, from the ground up. Tracy’s
interest in organizing our bank came from his vision of
how local ownership would better understand and serve
the area’s businesses. |

Kenneth P. Williams
Chairman of the Board and
Organizing Director
Since 1979, Williams Plumbing and Heating has helped
build and maintain the residential, commercial, and
municipal infrastructure of the Bozeman area. Today, he
employs 151 full time employees fulfilling contracts
statewide. His business expertise, life long Bozeman
relationships, and current real estate development
projects, make Ken a key asset for the Bank of Bozeman.

Christopher J. Burgard
Organizing Director
Since 1998, Chris has been helping many local
businesses succeed by providing them with strategic
brand imaging and marketing tools. As president of the
August Group Inc. dba Biglook, Chris and his
marketing/printing professionals have given hundreds of
companies the tools they’ve needed to be successful.
Before helping clients locally, regionally and
nationally grow, Chris held several management positions
in companies ranging from his own small business to a
billion dollar computer master reseller. His expertise
in marketing and brand imaging combines with his
business owner experiences to add great depth and
knowledge to our commercial loan department. |

Larry A. Witt
Organizing Director
Larry began working in the Bozeman real estate
market in 1978 and built his first business, Treasure
State Realty into one of the most successful agencies in
the valley. Today, he runs a number of real estate
related companies and still remains committed to helping
every client realize their dreams. His active leadership
roles in local and statewide real estate organizations
gives him unmatched insight in the real estate industry. |

John A. Brown
Director
Coming from a banking family (his grandfather
started Security State Bank of North Dakota in 1927),
John has helped others to achieve financial security all
of his life. As a director of many banks and businesses,
John continues his family tradition today. Having
intimate knowledge of every aspect of banking, along
with his established relationships in the banking world,
allows him to help Bank of Bozeman in establishing
correspondent relationships to benefit the bank and our
customers. |

Theodore J. Mitchell
Director
Mr. Mitchell was appointed to the board to fill a
vacancy in January 2006. He is a major owner, with his
father Jack Mitchell, of a real estate development
company Mitchell Development Group, LLC. The most
recent development was the purchase of 73 acres in
Bozeman, Montana. This property is undeveloped but is
planned for a commercial real estate development complex
to be known as “The Bozeman Gateway”. Mr. Mitchell has
purchased and developed properties in numerous locations
as follows; Temecula Southern California; Great Falls,
Havre, and Missoula, Montana; Salt Lake City, Utah;
Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and Alberta Canada. He attended
high school in Great Falls, Montana and college at
National College of Business in Rapid City, South
Dakota. He resides in Great Falls, Montana. |

Donna M. Kostelecky
Director
Donna has been involved in the Real Estate Profession
in Gallatin Valley since 1983. She is the immediate Past
President of the Gallatin Association of Realtors and was
awarded Realtor of the Year in 2006. Donna has been a State
Director for the Gallatin Association of Realtors for 8 years,
a Director for the Montana Association of Realtors and is on
the Board of Directors for Crime Stoppers, as well a volunteer
for many Community Organizations. Donna’s passion is to keep
current on the real estate market, land development and help
clients and customers fulfill their Real Estate Dreams and to
work hard to keep this a great community to live, work and
play in. Donna is married to Don and they have 4 children,
Todd, Terry, Camille and Kimberly and 3 grandchildren of which
they are very proud of. |
