Phillip D. Bratton
President / CEO
Phil joined Bank of Bozeman in July of 2009 as President, CEO and Director. Mr. Bratton graduated from Montana State University in 1968 with a degree in Agricultural Economics. Upon graduation he joined First Barry System and spent 10 years in various lending positions. Since 1978 he has been employed in Executive Officer positions in community banks in Montana and Idaho. From 1996 through November 2005 he served as the founding President and CEO of Magic Valley Bank of Twin Falls, Idaho. From December 2005 through March 2009 he served as Executive Vice President and Director for de novo Idaho Trust Bank in Boise, Idaho. Bratton resigned that position to pursue other interests.
Laura F. Clark
Senior Vice President / CFO
Laura has thirty years of increasingly challenging experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining Bank of Bozeman in 2005, her positions included Loan Officer, Cashier, Marketing and Training Director, Senior Operations Officer, and Controller. She has participated in several major transitions, conversions, mergers and acquisitions before organizing a successful support and processing center for seven community banks. Ms. Clark has extensive background in bank operations and accounting, human resource management and training, systems analysis and project management. She is knowledgeable regarding bank reporting requirements, regulatory expectations, risk management and policy development. Ms. Clark has been involved in various organizations including Head Start, Junior Achievement, United Way, Montana Associations of Female Executives and is a Leadership Billings Alumnus.
Mark Gannon
Senior Vice President / CLO
Mark has been in banking his entire professional career. Previous positions include Loan Officer, Senior Loan Specialist, Branch Manager, Group Credit Administrator, Bank President and Compliance Committee Chair for a twenty-two branch bank group. Until the move to Bank of Bozeman in 2006, Mr. Gannon spent his career in South Dakota where he was active in the South Dakota Bankers Association. This included the Legislative Committee membership and Chair of the Economic Development Committee. In addition to banking Mr. Gannon has been an active Lions Club member for over twenty years. Mr. Gannon was also a founding director for the Mid Dakota Economic Development Corporation, a non-profit corporation funding start-up businesses.
Kenneth P. Williams
Chairman of the Board and Organizing Director
Since 1979, Williams Plumbing and Heating has helped build and maintain the residential, commercial, and municipal infrastructure of the Bozeman area. Today, he employs 151 full time employees fulfilling contracts statewide. His business expertise, life long Bozeman relationships, and current real estate development projects, make Ken a key asset for the Bank of Bozeman.
Larry A. Witt
Organizing Director
Larry began working in the Bozeman real estate market in 1978 and built his first business, Treasure State Realty into one of the most successful agencies in the valley. Today, he runs a number of real estate related companies and still remains committed to helping every client realize their dreams. His active leadership roles in local and statewide real estate organizations gives him unmatched insight in the real estate industry.
Rodney R. Ridenour
Director
Mr. Ridenour has over thirty years of financial experience and is a licensed CPA who resides in Bozeman. Rod is originally from Iowa and graduated from Luther College. He was a senior auditor with a CPA firm in Chicago in their Commodities, Securities, and Banking division and then helped form a commodity futures / arbitrage trading firm in Chicago. Rod has been a member of the Chicago Board of Trade since 1984. Upon moving to Bozeman, Mr. Ridenour received his Master of Professional Accountancy from Montana State University – Bozeman and is also an adjunct instructor of accounting. Rod has also been active in several business and professional organizations.
